Job Position Description:
This position is for an entry level Disaster Restoration Technician. The DR Technician is a key role in the successful production of disaster restoration losses. Technicians work with other team members to professionally and efficiently provide the best service for all customers, both residential and commercial. They ensure all procedures and processes are thoroughly and meticulously followed to assure that each job is performed correctly.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Perform all restoration duties utilizing ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
- Carrying, loading and setting up equipment, cleaning floors and many other services
- Always look and act in a professional manner
- Use proper PPE where required
- Work well as part of a team
- Be flexible with working hours; Overtime will be a routine part of this job
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40lbs.
- Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
- Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
- Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
